Commissions→ Mar 29, 2012, 08:28 PM EDT
Well, I think it's that time. I'm finding it difficult to find anything to draw off the top of my head, and I need an excuse to draw stuff I'd otherwise just brush off, so I think financial incentive might do the trick. So here's the rundown.
Prices:
Character Sketches/Portraits: $25/$50, +$25/additional characterIllustrations (full): $150+ (details and format for an individual piece will dictate final price)
Dimensions:
Character portraits: 9x12 or 8x10 inchesFull illustrations: 8x10" (vertical), 12x8" (horizontal), 13x5" (Facebook Timeline Cover)(other dimensions can be specified upon client's request)
If you'd like to contact me for work, I prefer you email me with a subject heading fitting the type of work you're looking for (character sketch, character portrait, full illustration, etc.). You are welcome to message me on CGHub as well. Please be sure to read all the need-to-know stuff below.
Thanks for your time and consideration

-- Need-To-Know --
A full illustration will usually be considered any image containing (at minimum) 2 characters + environment.
Any image containing over 3 characters without an environment will also be treated as an illustration.
Otherwise, whatever full illustration a client desires can be discussed in detail, with price negotiated as needed (minimum price $150); for example, a client may request an illustration with only one character and environment--minimum price would still be $150.
An advance of half price for all pieces will be paid upon receipt of thumbnails and/or concept sketches. A sketch is any rough, unfinished, full-color thumbnail communicating the general idea for a finished portrait or full illustration. Sketches are usually completed relatively quickly and are also used as verification for any potential final product. For this reason, if the commission is only a character sketch, no advance fee is required (unless 3 characters or over).
(the advance fee ensures I am compensated for time spent on preliminary work)
If the sketch doesn't reflect your desired commission, changes can be requested at no additional charge. If no changes are requested and the finished piece is no longer desired, I retain the advance fee.
Generally speaking, character portraits may take up to a week to finish. Full illustrations may take up to two weeks. As always, this is subject to change depending on the nature of the individual project.

I try to draw pretty pictures. School got in the way of my education, so I dropped school. Hopefully I'll get where I'm going.
